Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana, on April 151976. Monroe Christian School served as her Christian elementary education. In her secondary education Ward initially attended Ouachita High School. However, she later transferred onto River Oaks High School during the summer following her junior year. The school she attended briefly was Northeast Louisiana University after graduating. When she was thirteen years old Ward started modeling after leaving school, and then moving to New York in order to achieve this. After a few years she decided to pursue acting. At first, in the 1970s she played an uncredited character in All My Children. A couple of years later, she was a part of the NBC primetime teen drama Malibu Shores. Then, in late 1996Ward got a job on the daytime soap-opera Sunset Beach where she portrayed the sexually virginal Meg Cummings. She began her quest for an acting career in the film industry, starring as her psychological Brittany Foster in the erotic film The In Crowd. The movie did not do well in the commercial theatres, but it did find some successes on home and cable. Ward was on screen in Shallow Hal in the year following, in which she played a supportive role. In addition to her direct-toDVD roles, Ward also made several guest appearances on TV shows including Friends. In 2009she was cast in the role of Chloe Kmet kothe mother of an unnamed gymna in on the ABC Family drama series Make It or Break It being a part of the cast for the first two seasons of the show. The personal side of her life is a union with the producer David C. Robinson. The couple has the name of a son, Cameron.
